Max recalls that their beginning client was the slow Mr Rupert Wright (father of Lloyd and Graeme) who then conducted a hardware business. He also recalls fondly that staff in those formative days consisted of one secretary whose only technical help was an used Imperial typewriter. The ingenious premises were located at 370 Wyndham Street, and in a period of a mere eight years, ABM had grown into a business enterprise which in 1954 had an accommodation problem. The 1956 Summer Olympics was held in Melbourne. Max was instrumental in establishing the Star Bowl in Shepparton and enjoyed a life long participation in the game. Max became a member of the Board of Directors until 1973 with the purpose of resolving finance problems. Although Rod retired in 1986 due to his health, he retained a accessible and happy relationship with the firm until his death. As with all PartnersDirectors of the firm, Peter was involved widely in the community. Rod Miller became the fifth partner in the steady in 1979, bringing a different set of skills into the partnership. Mike Hall is now the elder statesman of ABM and has been an integral segment of the steady since 1984. In some respects a fresh era had commenced as two more partners, Trevor Greene and Michael Hall had joined the firm. Greg Luscombe is one of those people who excels at whatever he puts his obey to. Although very modest, he has played at high levels of cricket and hockey and is also a useful golf player. It has now grown into our potent multidisciplined Prosperity Creation team. Max Brown was calm involved with the firm as a consultant. It was immense to have both Max and Peter Mount ecstasy at the anniversary event. Natalie Parker began her career at ABM in 199 and is passionate about growing client’s businesses, seeing healthy beyond mere taxation. There are now 4 Directors, 20 surplus accountants as well as consultants and a range of vital team members.
